On Saturday, January 4th The Heights Alumni Association hosted a networking event for dads and alumni. The evening featured brief presentations by experienced professionals meant to give college-age alumni insight into a variety of careers. One-on-one networking followed the presentations.
Among the career opportunities discussed were finance, accounting, real estate, computer programming, and working on Capitol Hill.
Alumni were able to make solid connections with both Heights dads and grads, hopefully paving the way to job and internships. It was also a great chance to find mentors.
Another networking event will be held this summer.
