Joe LaHood, graduate of The Heights ’02, returned to teach 6th grade Homeroom in 2013. He previously was a public school teacher in the South Bronx, NYC, where he taught 8th grade History. He has a BA in History from Providence College and a Masters in Special Education from Fordham University. Joe and his wife Natalie have a two year old, Gabriel, and young twins, Luke and Naomi. Joe enjoys a variety of sports and has enjoyed coaching 6th grade baseball for a number of years at The Heights. Joe and his wife also run St. Joseph’s House, a residential respite and summer daycare serving children with disabilities.
