Payment for bus trips is accomplished online by the purchase of tickets representing a set number of rides that you determine. Tickets may be purchased here. These tickets are good for the entire year.
Please go to the ticket purchase page here. You will see an email entry form on the page. Please enter your email you used to purchase tickets previously, and we will send an automated email with your ticket purchases.
Though the online method of purchase is preferred, tickets may be purchased by cash or check through the Business Office.
No, as long as you have purchased a ticket, all a boy needs to do is present himself to the driver or faculty member conducting the boarding of the bus. A ticket will be subtracted electronically from your ticket balance and an email sent to let you know the number of tickets remaining.
Either the friend will need to purchase a ticket to ride, or your ticket balance will be deducted for the extra ride.
You must still purchase a ticket in order to use the afternoon activities bus, as the cost of the service is independent from that of the regular bus.
Yes. Please call the Business Office to make that arrangement. The fee would depend on whether you are currently signed up for the regular after-school bus or not.
The service will run as usual, departing The Heights School at 5:30 pm.
The school follows Montgomery County Public Schools. In the event of an early dismissal or closure the service will be cancelled for that day.
The primary aim of the bus is to assist families who do not wish to make the two-way trip over the American Legion Bridge at the height of the rush hour. In addition, the bus originates at the school and adding stops deeper into Virginia would pose an unacceptable burden on the driver.
